Spirit music update

It’s only the beginning of a new decade and there are many bands announcing upcoming release dates for new albums. Newsboys just announced the release of their project “Born Again” on June 8th. This album features their new lead vocalist, Michael Tait. Fans who pre-order the album during Winter Jam will receive a free five song preview EP. Other releases include Newworldson's self-titled sophomore project to be out on February 23rd.

The common theme is to make 2010 better than last year, and the Rock and Worship Roadshow promises to give it a go! Spirit artists such as MercyMe and more will take center stage. With the New Year, comes new music and a couple of Spirit artists are working hard at it. Sanctus Real is perfecting their up and coming album titled “Pieces of a Real Heart” which releases on March 9. They have already released one new song called “Forgiven” and they also gave fans a preview of the new music during their sold out New Years Eve concert. Another Spirit artist who just finished up new music is Sara Groves. Groves recently released her ninth album “Fireflies and Songs” which she says is her most personal album that also broadened the spectrum of her music since she began twelve years ago.
